 History :

                 Brindavanam is the next film in which Junior NTR is the lead. Kajal Agarwal will play the female lead who is at her top in the Telugu industry.Initially Trisha was choosen as the girl for the hero but things changed and Kajal marked her steps in the movie.The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipalli (Munna was his debut film, which bombed at the BO). Dil Raju will be producing the movie and the music will be composed by Thaman.S. “I am currently shooting for Brindavanam.

                  It is well known that currently 'Brindavanam' film unit is shooting in Bachupally in a Biggest House set erected. It is known that this huge set of a traditional house is record setter in Tollywood History. Jr.NTR is in the lead and Kajal and Samantha are pairing opposite him. The set was erected by Art Director Anand Sai and it is hear that the house spreads over three Acres near a lake at Bachupally. It is said that the House set erected made with a budget of Rs. 2.5 Crores

                    It has been great working with NTR and the director Vamsi (Pydapalli). I play Bhoomi in the film, who is very reserved and quite an introvert. I am just enjoying the experience of working for the film and I hope it shapes up well and you guys like them,” said the actress about the film.

                Mahesh Babu and Trivikram, who together scripted the mega blockbuster 'Athadu', team up again for 'Kaleja'. The action entertainer was tentatively titled 'Varudu' in the beginning, but the director made some changes to the script later and hence the name change. Anushka stars in the female lead. The film will hit the cinemas by the end of November, it is reported.

                 Mahesh Babu plays a taxi driver in 'Kaleja' and Prakashraj is the villain. Bollywood cameraman Sunil Patel, of 'Hum Tum' and 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' fame cranks the camera and Mani Sharma scores the music.

                C.R.Manohar is now producing another movie titled Ranga The Donga with a tagline ‘Story Of A Thief’. He earlier produced Srikanth-Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Mahatma’. This new film is going to be jointly produced by CR Manohar and actor cum director Sudhakar Naidu, well known as G.V, who will also direct the film. Vimala Raman is pairing with Srikanth in this flick.According to producer cum director G.V, the role ‘Donga’ in this flick will be a variety one. The role is so unique that nobody can predict the twists in his characterization. Vimala Raman will be seen as a police officer.
                  As informed by one of the producer CR Manohar, this film will be launched on February 19th and the regular shooting will begin from February 28th(2010). Chakri is composing the tunes and there are altogether five songs and a theme song in the album”.In the movie Ranga the Donga, Srikanth plays the role of a thief who steals anything except the lives of people. He is not just an ordinary thief, he is daring enough to steal even from the houses of Police officers.

                 For one, the more they change, the more they tend to remain the same. Not surprisingly at all, Thakita Thakita does just that, while putting up a facade of being "out of this world",the problem is that pretenses, however good, usually wear off, and the cookie starts to crumble just seconds into the film, as a 51 year-old Nagarjuna (formerly a "Yuva" Samrat himself) turns up to put things in perspective, introducing the unknown faces. Indeed, patronage in this part of the world is a different animal altogether.Soon enough, Anushka walks in to make the second surprise appearance. Guess we're all suckers for the reassuring comforts that familiarity offers. At least, that is what our filmmakers seem to think.As for the story, Sri, Chandana, Nandini, Kishore, Mahesh, Scud and Bhakti are a bunch of buddies together from school. Then, there's Jessica, a "firang" who stays as a paying guest at the rich Chandana's home.

                Nandini loves Kishore, her senior. Her father, though, doesn't approve of their love. Mahesh and Scud have an old-boys' tiff going on between them because of which they can't stand each other.
Sri is madly in love with Chandana, but waits to settle down in life before declaring his love. Chandana is also in love with him, by the way. They both have a strong reason for playing dumb, which is actually the crux of the film - the message, rather.There's also Dakshayini, who is also crazy about Sri and would stop at nothing to have her man. Then, there's Bhakti, a happy-go-lucky girl.How these kids come of age, rising above the challenges life dishes out, makes up the rest of the predictable story. Of course, the flick does not stop at that. You cannot have a Telugu film about youth without a message, can you?
                  Thakita Thakita takes a stand on many burning issues facing the young today, including acid attacks on girls, suicides, misunderstandings and self-esteem issues. There's so much righteousness packed into the film that it might actually make the more sensitive ones among us cry.The performances, along with the music, stand head and shoulders over everything else. Harshvardhan Rane (Sri) and Haripriya (Chandana) get the most footage, and do a pretty good job. Both look fresh, and have a comforting screen presence.The rest of the newcomers do a decent job, but there's really not much to do. The writing is good in patches, as some jokes tickle your funny bones while the rest just fall flat.The music is, perhaps, the brightest spot in the film. While there is that sense of d?j? vu at the back of your mind, Bobo Shashi's tunes leave you feeling nice.The director, it seems relies on a combination of a lot of extreme close-ups and fancy editing to weave in some freshness, but it just does not come together. The film does look quite slick from the outside, but ends up a little too amateurish.A few moments in the film (mostly the ones involving Sri and Chandana) stand out, but, all in all, it's more disappointing than inspiring.

                Vamsi’s ‘Saradaga Kasepu’ starring the chirpy Allari Naresh and the cheerful Avasarala Srinivas will release on September 9th.As the title goes, ‘Saradaga Kasepu’ is a comic entertainer. Allari Naresh whose forte is comedy would have had a blast while shooting for this movie along with Avasarala Srinivas who made his debut in ‘Ashta Chemma’. Vamsi, the director who has given us many a comedy movie, says this movie will be highly entertaining.Madhurima is the heroine of this movie. The movie has been shot in Rajahmundry and surroundings.
                 The film is said to be a comedy entertainer which is about the confusion that takes place between lovers played by Allari Naresh and Madhurima. The other cast of the film includes Krishna Bhagawan, Ahuti Prasad, MS Narayana, Jayaprakash Reddy, Duvvasi Mohan, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Jeeva, and Jayalalitha etc. in other supporting roles.

                It is a challenging job to make a sequel of the original flick, but director Praveen Sri has successfully attempted to bring out the same spice and content in his Telugu film 'Gaayam 2'.The movie witnessed superb performance by the original artists like Jagapathi babu and Kota Sreenivasa Rao, for which the original of the movie takes the credit. With a powerful storyline the movie is set in Bangkok and Hyderabad.The film revolves around the character Durga, who settled in Bangkok with his wife and an adopted child with a changed identity. The disguised man hides his real name to lead a peaceful life even his wife is unaware of this fact. The plot of the story takes turn when his original identity rvealed by Gaayam's guru Narayan.Then the story moves into an interesting turn with two characters with solid dialogues and performances which must be seen on screen. This time too actor Jagapathi Babu has given his best performance like his original movie with equal intensity through his eyes and dominating voice.
               'Gaayam-2' boasts of its excellent screenplay, background music and superb cinematography with interesting visuals. However, the sequel lacks emotional content as compared to the original film. But the director has delivered his best following the footstep of Ram Gopal Varma. He has successfully portrayed many recent political developments into the story to make it original. The first half of the movie has been inspired by a Hollywood film 'A History of Violence'.
